DR TIFFANY CHUO
BHS (DENT) / MASTERS OF DENTISTRY
Dr Tiffany Chuo graduated from Latrobe University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry / Masters of Dentistry. During her time in Latrobe University, she spent time being an academic mentor to the first year dental students. After graduation, she took on private and public work in the rural areas of Ballarat and Tralalgon. Dr Chuo is an active member of the Australian Dental Association and has a strong interest in expanding her knowledge in the field of dentistry. She is great with children and is able to put the most anxious patients at ease in the dental chair.
Dr Chuo enjoys architecture, sports (badminton, golf, basketball and swimming), cooking and travelling. She is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia / Malaysia, Mandarin and Hokkien.
DR EMILY POW
BHSc (DENT) / MASTERS OF DENTISTRY
Dr Emily obtained her Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry and a Masters of Dentistry from La Trobe University, and is one of our new dentists at MyDental Group. While studying dentistry in Bendigo, she was heavily involved in improving student life and previously held the roles of Secretary and President of the Bendigo Oral Health and Dentistry Society. She has continued her passion for improving the student and dental professional life, and is currently an active member of the Australian Dental Association Victorian Branch’s Recent Graduates and Students Committee.
Dr Emily has gained a significant amount of experience working previously as the Hospital Dental Officer at Monash Medical Centre where she treated medically compromised patients. She was also on-call for dental emergencies for adult and paediatric emergency departments of the Monash Health network, as well as regional hospitals in the La Trobe Valley. She has a special interest in extracting teeth, working with children and helping to calm anxious patients, especially in emergency situations.
In her spare time Dr Emily enjoys going for a swim, bike riding and eating her way through the great restaurants and cafes of Melbourne. She also enjoys travelling and just returned from a volunteer dental outreach project in Nepal.
